Every human hold trauma in the bodies.

Trauma is stores in the body, in somatic memory and expressed as changes in the biological stress response.

​

When an experience, a particular set of circumstances, or unresolved events from the past shatter your sense of security and well-being in the present, the physical and psychological effects of trauma can linger. This is known as a somatic memory (i.e. Listening to a song or smelling a familiar aroma can trigger strong emotions and sensations within he body and a physical and emotional level.

The psoas muscle, which connects the lumbar vertebrae to the pelvis, is a powerful muscle that holds physical, emotional, and mental stress that we carry in our bodies through the courses of our lives.
